Failing to prove the urban legend of Mbak Rohanna's ghost at Virgin Bridge, Yogyakarta, makes Zein (Endi Arfian) have to propose other haunted places to Kinan (Carrisa Perruset) to make content on their YouTube channel. One time, Pasha (Omara Esteghlal), a student from the same college with Kinan and Zein, carries out a gruesome action in the middle of the city of Yogyakarta and claims to get a letter from the death. The letter threatens, if Pasha does not do what is ordered in the letter, then death would pick him up. From that letter, Kinan and Zein investigate Gama Plaza, an old building that had been used as a place of suicide by their campus students several years ago, Darius (Jerome Kurnia). When they begin the investigation, the next letter arrive again to one of their campus student, and this time it takes a life. Kinan believes that this is a premeditated murder, but Zein argues that everything that happens is related to the spirit of Darius.

SIPNOSIS

Gagal membuktikan urban legend hantu Mbak Rohanna di Jembatan Perawan, Yogyakarta, membuat Zein (Endi Arfian) harus mengajukan pilihan tempat angker lainnya pada Kinan (Carrisa Perruset) untuk mereka jadikan materi di konten Youtube mereka.

Suatu ketika, Pasha (Omara Esteghlal), mahasiswa satu kampus dengan Kinan dan Zein, melakukan aksi mengerikan di tengah kota Yogyakarta dan mengaku mendapat surat dari kematian.

Surat itu mengancam, jika Pasha tidak melakukan apa yang diperintahkan di dalam surat, maka kematian akan menjemputnya.

Dari surat itu Kinan dan Zein tergerak untuk menyelidiki Gama Plaza, bangunan tua yang pernah dijadikan tempat bunuh diri oleh mahasiswa kampus mereka beberapa tahun silam, Darius (Jerome Kurnia ).

Baru mereka mulai penyelidikan, surat berikutnya sudah datang lagi kepada salah satu mahasiswa kampus mereka, dan kali ini memakan nyawa.

Kinan yakin kalau ini semua adalah suatu pembunuhan berencana, Zein berpendapat bahwa semua yang terjadi berkaitan dengan makhluk halus, yaitu arwah Darius.

Surat dari Kematian adalah film garapan Max pictures yang merupakan hasil adaptasi dari novel dengan judul sama yang ditulis oleh Adham T Fusama. Film ini disutradarai oleh Hestu Saputra dan dibintangi oleh Carissa Perusset, Endy Arfian, Dania Salshabilla , juga Eric Febrian dan dirilis pada 9 Januari 2020.

Film ini bercerita tentang Kinan (Carissa Perusset), seorang mahasiswi yang juga merupakan Jurnalis dan gemar sekali untuk menyelidiki berbagai kasus yang ada di kampusnya, Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta. Dalam menjalankan penyelidikannya, ia dibantu oleh sahabatnya, Zein (Endy Arfian). Berbeda dengan Kinan yang selalu mengedepankan rasionalitas, Zein memiliki arah pandang lain dengan mengaitkan kasus tersebut dengan hal-hal yang bersifat mistis. Ia memang memiliki kemampuan untuk merasakan dan melihat makhluk metafisik disekitarnya. Pada suatu ketika terdapat rumor yang beredar di kalangan mahasiswa yang berisi tentang “surat kematian”. Siapa pun yang menerima surat kematian akan mati dalam waktu yang ditentukan kecuali ia menuruti apa yang diperintahkan oleh surat tersebut. Dalam perkembangannya, terdapat dua mahasiswa yang menjadi korban. Kinan dan Zein memutuskan untuk menyelidiki dan mendalami kasus tersebut.

Film ini berbeda dengan film horor Indonesia pada umumnya, baik struktur maupun variasi cerita yang digunakan. Meski film ini tak bisa dikatakan sebagai horor murni karena terdapat gaya investigatif tapi secara keseluruhan film ini mampu menciptakan atmosfer horor yang kuat. Gaya investigatif memang bukanlah satu hal yang baru dalam genre ini, namun melalui pembawaan pemeran dan variasinya mampu membuat film ini memiliki gaya tersendiri. Hal ini tentu sangat didukung performa dari dua tokoh utamanya. Carissa dan Endi melalui akting dan dialog mereka mampu membentuk chemistry kuat dan membuat proses investigasi dan penyeledikan menjadi seru untuk diikuti. Sayangnya, performa baik dari para pemeran utama tersebut tak sejalan dengan performa dari tokoh-tokoh lain. Akting dan dialog yang dibawakan oleh beberapa tokoh pendukung terkesan canggung dan kaku. Hal lain yang begitu disayangkan adalah penyelesaian atau pengungkapan kasus yang kurang menarik dan terbilang terlalu mudah. Padahal sejak awal hingga pertengahan kasus masih enak dan menarik untuk diikuti. Rasionalitas cerita juga beberapa kali terasa janggal. Satu peristiwa yang merupakan akar dari segala permasalahan yang disajikan begitu lemah, sangat mempengaruhi keseluruhan cerita.

PLOT

United States Naval Aviator LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell and his Radar Intercept Officer LTJG Nick "Goose" Bradshaw fly the F-14A Tomcat aboard USS Enterprise . During an interception with two hostile MiG-28 aircraft, Maverick gets missile lock on one, while the other hostile aircraft locks onto Maverick's wingman, Cougar. While Maverick drives off the remaining MiG-28, Cougar is too shaken to land, and Maverick, defying orders, shepherds him back to the carrier. Cougar gives up his

wings, citing his newborn child that he has never seen. Despite his dislike for Maverick's recklessness, CAG "Stinger" sends him and Goose to attend TOPGUN, the Naval Fighter Weapons School at Naval Air Station Miramar .

At a bar the day before Topgun starts, Maverick, assisted by Goose, unsuccessfully approaches a woman. Maverick learns the next day that she is Charlotte "Charlie" Blackwood, an astrophysicist and civilian TOPGUN instructor. Charlie later becomes interested in Maverick upon learning of his inverted maneuver with the MiG-28, which disproves US intelligence on the enemy aircraft's performance.

During Maverick's first training sortie he defeats instructor LCDR Rick "Jester" Heatherly but through reckless flying breaks two rules of engagement and is reprimanded by chief instructor CDR Mike "Viper" Metcalf. Privately, Jester confides that he admires Maverick's skill, but wouldn't trust him as a teammate in combat. Maverick also becomes a rival to top student LT Tom "Iceman" Kazansky, who considers Maverick's attitude "dangerous"—as Maverick's tendency to abandon his team and pursue reckless objectives makes him "unsafe" to fly with. In class, Charlie also objects to Maverick's aggressive tactics but privately admits to him that she admires his flying and omitted it from her reports to hide her feelings for him, and the two begin a romantic relationship.

During a training sortie, Maverick abandons his wingman "Hollywood" to chase Viper, who is impressed with his flying abilities but is defeated when Viper maneuvers Maverick into a position from which his wingman Jester can shoot down Maverick from behind, demonstrating the value of teamwork over individual prowess. Jester publicly tells Maverick that his flying is excellent, but that he should "never leave [his] wingman."

Maverick and Iceman, now direct competitors for the TOPGUN Trophy, chase an

A-4 in a later training engagement. Maverick pressures Iceman to break off his engagement so he can shoot it down, but Maverick's F-14 flies through the jet wash of Iceman's aircraft and suffers a flameout of both engines, going into an unrecoverable flat spin. Maverick and Goose eject , but Goose hits the jettisoned

aircraft canopy head-first and is killed.

Although the board of inquiry clears Maverick of responsibility for Goose's death, he is overcome by guilt and his flying skill diminishes. Charlie and others attempt to console him, but Maverick considers retiring. He seeks advice from Viper, who reveals that he served with Maverick's father Duke Mitchell on USS Oriskany and was in the air battle in which Mitchell was killed. Contrary to official reports which faulted Mitchell, Viper reveals classified information that proves Mitchell died heroically and informs Maverick that he can succeed if he can regain his self-confidence. Maverick chooses to graduate, though Iceman wins the TOPGUN Trophy.

During the graduation party, Viper calls in the newly graduated aviators with the orders to deploy. Iceman, Hollywood, and Maverick are ordered to immediately return to Enterprise to deal with a "crisis situation", providing air support for the rescue of a stricken ship that has drifted into hostile waters.

Maverick and Merlin (Cougar's former RIO) are assigned as back-up for F-14s flown by Iceman and Hollywood, despite Iceman's reservations over Maverick's state of mind. The subsequent hostile engagement with six MiGs sees Hollywood shot down; Maverick is scrambled alone due to a catapult failure and nearly retreats after encountering circumstances similar to those that caused Goose's death. Upon finally rejoining Iceman, the two are still badly outnumbered, but Maverick vocally refuses to leave Iceman without a wingman and manages to shoot down three MiGs. Iceman, shifting to offense also shoots one down, which forces the other two to flee. Upon their triumphant return to Enterprise , Iceman and Maverick share newfound respect in each other, and Maverick throws Goose's dog tags overboard.

Offered any assignment he chooses, Maverick decides to return to TOPGUN as an instructor. At a bar in Miramar, Maverick and Charlie reunite.

PLOT

In the dystopian South Korea, Jun-seok gets out of prison for a previous heist he and his friends had messed up, and the currency (the Korean won) has crashed massively, making the haul of their last job effectively worthless. Jun-seok proposes one last heist to his best friends Jang-ho and Ki-hoon, in order for the trio to escape from their miserable situations.

Their target is an illegal gambling house, which stores hefty stacks of US dollars. The trio recruits Sang-soo, who currently works in the gambling house. After getting firearms from Bong-sik – a friend Jun-seok knew in prison – the quartet proceeds with the heist, which finishes messy but successful. They take a large sum of cash and the gambling house's surveillance hard drives, which contain footage of shady dealings between the gambling house's owners and various criminals. After the heist, Sang-soo requests to stay in the city a little longer to continue working at the gambling house, in order to avoid raising suspicion of his involvement in the heist. The trio leaves to go to Ki-hoon's parents' home.

The loss of the surveillance hard drives made the gambling house's owners unhappy. They recruit killer Han to track the quartet and retrieve the hard drives. Han visits Bong-sik and forces him to call Jun-seok to know the trio's current location, before killing him. Han then tracks down Sang-soo, and kills him off-screen, taking his phone. Jun-seok wakes up from a nightmare and goes to a bar. He receives a call from Sang-soo's phone, but on realising that someone else inside the bar has his phone, he leaves in panic and rushes Jang-ho and Ki-hoon to pack up and run away, knowing that someone is out to hunt them down.

Trying to get away from the lodge, Han shoots Jang-ho and the car crashes. Han gives the trio a 5-minute advantage before continuing the hunt, and they drive away to the hospital to treat Jang-ho's injury. At the hospital, as they are resting, Jun-seok sees Han arriving at the hospital and the trio manages to escape, taking the car Han drove. They later realise that the car is a police cruiser that has access to the city's surveillance cameras, assuming that Han is a cop. Han is taken away by the police, but is then released on the road under the order of the police chief.

The trio arrives at the harbor, where they have to stay until dawn. Realising that his parents are in trouble, Ki-hoon returns to his parents' home, saying goodbye to Jun-seok, who is outside. Jun-seok returns at night and sees an unknown car near the entrance, immediately realising that Han has arrived. Jun-seok and Jang-ho escape from Han and run to a nearby car, but Han shoots at them before the car can start up. Jun-seok suggests to fight against Han for their only chance to escape.

In the shootout, Han shoots Jang-ho multiple times and the latter eventually succumbs to his injuries, leaving Jun-seok alone to fight against Han. As Jun-seok is about to be shot dead by Han, a group of masked men, led by Bong-sik's twin brother Bong-soo, arrives to kill Han to seek revenge for the death of his brother. The masked men shoot Han numerous times and is knocked off the edges of the docks, into the sea.

At dawn, Jun-seok takes the boat to Kenting (southern Taiwan ) where he stays for some time, but he still cannot forget about the loss of his friends. He asks for information regarding everyone involved with the gambling house as well as receives information that Han has survived from the previous shooting. It is also revealed Ki-hoon did not survive after returning home. Jun-seok, now better at firing guns, knows that he will never escape from Han and decides to return to South Korea to face him once again.

Aini cuba menyembunyikan emosinya sebagai ibu demi membantu Alya yang masih trauma. Namun, tekanan yang diterima dalam kalangan masyarakat menyebabkan jiwanya sebagai ibu turut terkesan. Melihatkan keadaan Aini, Alya cuba bangkit dan cuba untuk melupakan apa yang sudah terjadi. Dia mahu memulakan segalanya bersama Aini. Malang tidak berbau, Alya menerima kiriman video yang dihantar oleh Apai ke telefonnya. Video sewaktu Alya diperkosa telah dirakam dan Apai mengugutnya untuk menularkan video tersebut sekiranya Alya tidak pergi menemui mereka di bangunan yang sama. Tanpa berfikir panjang, Alya bergegas ke bangunan tersebut untuk menemui Apai dan yang lain. Apai dan kawan-kawannya cuba untuk memperkosa Alya buat kali kedua, namun kali ini Alya tidak mahu menyerah.

Mengingatkan kembali tentang perasaan Aini tempoh hari menyebabkan Alya nekad untuk menyelamatkan diri. Namun, dalam usaha Alya untuk menyelamatkan diri, dia terjatuh dari tingkat dua bangunan tersebut dan mati.

PLOT

Several news reports that an unknown viral epidemic has been sweeping the Philippines. Meanwhile, Mario brings his daughter PJ, a medical student, to her first day in her senior year at San Lazaro University. Due to his previous work as an OFW and his inability to pay his daughter's tuition, Mario has a strained relationship with PJ, who is still traumatized from failing to save her mother from a fatal stroke. She reunites with her block mates in Block Z: fellow med students and longtime friends Erika and Myles, and Block Z basketball team captain Lucas, who harbors feelings for PJ. Mario accidentally hits a pedestrian who secretly intended to scam him of money, but Mario instead brings the man to San Lazaro's hospital, where he meets with PJ again.

PJ and Erika are assigned to take care of Angie, a mother who has what appears to be a human bite in her leg. Angie suddenly has a seizure and dies shortly after, and PJ goes to comfort Angie's young daughter Ruby over her mother's death. Myles and fellow student Gary head over to bring Angie's body to the morgue, but Angie reanimates and bites Gary's neck, causing Myles to flee. Angie begins attacking other people in the hospital, causing others to be infected and reanimate as undead, forcing Mario and the pedestrian to flee together. The undead begins slaughtering several students and personnel around the university, including Lucas' team where he emerges as the only survivor. Lucas meets Mario and the pedestrian, but the latter had been bitten and turned, forcing the two to kill him. The two then separate, with both intending to find PJ. Student council president Gelo calls his general father for evacuation via helicopter on the hospital's helipad and tells his vice president Vanessa not to tell anyone as he only informed his father to make room for the two of them. Despite this, Vanessa secretly informs the university councilors to spread the word. Lucas manages to find PJ with Erika and Myles and the four work together to flee the school. The military quarantines the university, but they are forced to kill both zombies and students fleeing from the front gate.

Gelo confronts Vanessa for telling the university body about his helicopter, and Vanessa chastises him for looking out for himself when he has the resources to help everyone. They scuffle and Gelo accidentally pushes Vanessa off a staircase, killing her; when PJ's group stumbles upon the scene, Gelo lies and says she was infected and had to take her out in self-defense, and he joins the group. The group plans their route to the hospital, but when they become overwhelmed with zombies, they are rescued by Mario in the school's church. Mario has managed to hole up in the church with Ruby and security guard Bebeth. Gelo reveals that people have to be left behind as his helicopter can only fit two people, which angers the others in the process before the group convinces him that he needs them to survive.

The group passes by the faculty next, but when Ruby sees her zombified mother, she rushes to her and alerts the herd to their location. Ruby is devoured in the process, and the others are forced to leave when Gelo goes to the faculty and locks them out. The group temporarily rests in the dormitory, where they reminisce on their past and PJ and Mario reconcile, but a zombie attacks and bites Mario before it is killed. Mario tells the group to kill him to prevent him from turning, but the group opts to lock him inside the dorm's closet, and he says his final goodbyes to PJ before they leave him. Although the group manages to discover the zombies' weaknesses to headshots and water, their numbers begin dwindling: Myles is mortally wounded by a stray zombie and makes a last stand before he is killed, Bebeth stays behind fending off zombies from the others, and Erika sacrifices herself to let PJ and Lucas escape. The two manage to reach the hospital's rooftop, where Lucas lifts PJ to the helipad before using himself as bait to lure zombies away by jumping off the building.

A sorrowful PJ loses consciousness and awakens the next day with no helicopter in sight. She sees that she has a bite mark in her hand and realizes that she is immune to the virus, so she fights her way back to the dorms, killing several zombies including Angie in the process. PJ reunites with Mario, who is also immune, and the two decide to explore an ancient tunnel underneath the church that Ruby had previously discovered. There, they encounter Gelo, who is delirious from being infected and jaded from being seemingly abandoned by his father. The two manage to evade him and escape through a manhole and leave Gelo to be devoured by approaching zombies. PJ and Mario realize that the infection has spread beyond the university into the wider city, and they arm themselves.

News reports begin sharing the zombie's vulnerability to water. Bebeth broadcasts a message that she had survived. A large typhoon engulfs the Philippines, weakening and killing many of the undead in the process. Two weeks after the typhoon, a group of raiders discovers a heavily injured but still-alive Lucas, and their leader decides to take him in.

Adanya cinta tidak lepas dari proses, begitu pula dengan Arya, dia menemukan cintanya pada Lia, yang diperankan oleh Yuki Kato. Proses cinta itu bisa sebentar ataupun lama, tergantung dari rasa itu sendiri. Tidak disangka, bahwa pertemuan beberapa kali bisa melaju ke jenjang pernikahan.

Hal tersebut tentu menjadi yang saya harapkan, bahwa perkenalan tidak mesti satu abad, tetapi bisa hanya beberapa kali pertemuan dan menemukan yang sudah diinginkan dan rasa yang datang, sehingga akad pernikahan pun terucapkan.

Menikah Yuk! Suatu hal yang tidak mustahil, setiap orang bisa menerima ajakan tersebut. Meskipun tidak semua akan menyebutkannya atau menerimanya, tetapi pernikahan tetaplah proses perjalanan yang sakral sehingga momen tersebut menjadi peristiwa yang terindah dan diingat pada rangkaian perjalanan kehidupan.

Nikah Yuk! Film keluarga yang pada dasarnya mengingatkan saya, bahwa sudah saatnya menikah. Mudah-mudahan disegerakan bertemu dan menikah yang berlandasakan silih asih, salih asuh dan silih asah. Hal yang selalu didengungkan dalam setiap rapalan doa-doa dalam berharap pernikahan.

Film yang tayang pada 6 Februari 2020 ini memberi inspirasi bahwa pernikahan itu bukan akhir kehidupan, tetapi sebuah tahapan atau langkah menuju perjalanan berikutnya, dan bukan penghalang dalam menempuh keinginan dan melanjutkan hobi.

Lia yang diperankan oleh Yuki Kato mendapatkan apa yang diinginkanya setelah menikah, bahkan cita-citanya terpenuhi. Tentu dalam perjalanannya terdapat liku-liku dalam pernikahan dan memenuhi cita-cita. Alurnya cukup romantis dan lucu, sehingga tak jarang ketika menontonnya saya tertawa melihat polah karakter pada film tersebut.

Film ini juga menyajikan suasana luar negeri, Jepang sebagai salah satu negara yang memiliki ciri khas pada seni manga atau komik. Sebagai pecinta komik, saya pun sangat antusias dan senang, karena di film ini dikenalkan komik sebagai karya yang indah dan memiliki prestasi tinggi. Bukan sekedar hobi, tetapi hobi yang dijalani dengan tekun, akan membawa pada keberhasilan dan kesuksesan. Nah, lebih baik kita nonton aja yuk filmnya…

In this world, there are many people who seem to be wandering along a relationship border-lining 'friends' and 'lovers'. This borderline is also commonly known as the FRIEND ZONE. It is a special area for those who are stuck in the middle where they cannot really stay friends with their close friends, nor move forward to be their friends' lovers. Palm (Naphat Siangsomboon) is one of those who has been stuck in the friend zone with his best friend, Gink (Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul), for 10 years. During high school, he tried to cross the line by confessing his feelings for her. But Gink simply rejected him, saying that "being friends is good enough." Since then, Palm and Gink have grown closer as true best friends. Every time Palm breaks up with any of his countless girlfriends, Gink will tell him off, talking some sense into him. And every time Gink fights with her boyfriend, no matter where she happens to be in Myanmar, Malaysia, or Hong Kong. All she has to do is make a call to Palm, who uses his perks as a flight attendant to catch flights to be with her. Perhaps, it is because of his excessive kindness that also makes Gink has a problem with Ted (Jason Young) her boyfriend. One day, Gink asks Palm out of the blue, "Have you wondered - what if we were an item?" Right then, sparks fly wildly inside Palm's mind, knowing that this might be the only chance for him to cross the borderline. Poppy ( Anna Kendrick), still adjusting to her new role as queen, receives an invitation from Queen Barb ( Rachel Bloom ) that summons all trolls to a party for them to reunite their music. Learning of the six Troll tribes from her father (each of which is represented by a different style of music: Pop , Funk , Classical , Techno ,

Country , and Rock ), and the six magical strings kept by each tribe leader that powers their specific kind of music. Poppy ignores warnings from her father and Branch ( Justin Timberlake ) and sends a cheerful reply to Barb via Debbie, Barb's pet bat. However, Barb's true intention is to unite all the trolls under her rock music, by stealing each tribes string and using all six to destroy all other music.

Wanting to prove herself as a good queen, Poppy takes their tribes string and travels in an air balloon to recruit the other groups of Trolls, with Branch joining in an attempt to express his feelings towards her and Biggie accidentally stowing away. Meanwhile, Cooper ( Ron Funches ), goes on his own journey due to feeling like an outcast among the Pop trolls, only to get eventually abducted. The balloon ends up in the land of the Classical trolls, which is in ruins. After learning of Barb's attack and theft of the Classical string via a small flute named Pennywhistle ( Charlyne Yi ), Poppy seeks to unite all the other trolls against Barb. Their mission to recruit the Country trolls is unsuccessful due to their loud medley of pop songs, but a Country troll named Hickory ( Sam Rockwell ) busts them out, moved by Poppy's motives. A Smooth Jazz troll named Chaz ( Jamie Dornan), hired by Barb as a bounty hunter, uses his music to make Poppy and Branch fall into a deep hallucination, but Hickory incapacitates Chaz before Biggie returns home due to Poppy leading them to danger. Shortly after, the group is abducted by the same spaceship that snatched Cooper.

Inside the spaceship, the group discovers the quadrupedal Funk Trolls before meeting up with Cooper, who is revealed to have been the long-lost identical twin of the Funk Troll Prince D ( Anderson Paak ), having had his egg snatched out of his nest before hatching. He tells Poppy he finds comfort in identifying with both Pop and Funk. His parents Quincy ( George Clinton) and Essence ( Mary J. Blige ) also reveal to Poppy that the original Pop Trolls had attempted to steal the strings and remix the other five music styles into Pop long ago, forcing the other Trolls to each take one string and divide their tribes to save their music. Quincy explains to Poppy that differences are not bad and trying to make all Trolls the same does not help the problem.

After the Rock Trolls hijack the Funk Trolls' ship to steal the Funk String, Cooper ejects the group in bubbles, accidentally separating Hickory from the two. After Poppy still refuses to return home, she and Branch have a falling-out, during which Branch says she can't be a good queen if she doesn't listen to others. Branch is soon captured by both K-Pop and Reggaeton bounty hunters, but convinces them to help save Poppy and all music. Meanwhile, Poppy reunites with Hickory, only for him to reveal himself as a Yodel troll and one of Barb's bounty hunters, leading to Poppy's capture and the theft of the Pop String. Feeling guilty over the destruction of the Pop village, Biggie gathers together their remaining friends to go rescue Poppy and Branch, entering the land of the Rock Trolls.

Barb has Poppy imprisoned over a large concert stage where all the captured Trolls are the audience. She uses her guitar with all six strings to turn all the other trolls into Rock zombies. Poppy is seemingly transformed, but is revealed to have been wearing gumdrop earplugs . Poppy admonishes Barb for being a poor queen by not taking time to listen to her people and smashes the guitar. While it snaps the possessed trolls out of their rock zombie state, it destroys the strings, ergo stopping the flow of music, taking the trolls’ colors with it. Cooper hears his heartbeat over a microphone and creates a rhythmic beat with it, other trolls joining in with other forms of soundmaking, reviving the power of their music while Poppy encourages everyone to sing together as their colors are restored. Realizing how important other forms of music are and encouraged by her father Thrash ( Ozzy Osbourne ), the repentant Barb joins in, regaining her colors, and eagerly accepts Poppy's offer of friendship.

Branch finally confess his love to Poppy, who reciprocates his feelings. Everyone performs together, all Trolls finally reunited while celebrating their differences.

In a world inhabited by mythical creatures , magic was commonplace several millennia ago, though difficult to master. After technological advances over the centuries, magic became obsolete and was largely discarded.

In the modern day, two elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot - the former a high-schooler lacking self-confidence, and the latter a history and role-playing game fanatic - live in the city of New Mushroomton. Their father Wilden died of a severe illness shortly before Ian was born, and their mother Laurel has a new boyfriend,

centaur police officer Colt Bronco, whom Ian and Barley dislike.

On Ian's sixteenth birthday, Laurel gives the brothers a gift from Wilden: a magical staff, a rare gem, and a letter describing a "visitation spell" that can resurrect their father for a single day. Ian accidentally succeeds in casting the spell, but only the lower half of Wilden's body is reformed before the gem disintegrates. The brothers embark on a quest to acquire another gem and complete the spell, taking Barley's beloved van "Guinevere". Finding the boys gone, Laurel leaves to find them.

Ian and Barley visit the Manticore ’s Tavern, named for a monster possessing a map to the gem. The tavern has become a family restaurant managed by the Manticore, legally named The Manticore, also known as "Corey". Arguing with Ian over the map, The Manticore realizes how boring her life has become and drives the customers away in a fit of rage, accidentally setting fire to the restaurant and the map. The brothers' only clue to the gem is a children's menu suggesting "Raven's Point", a nearby mountain. Laurel later arrives at the scene and befriends The Manticore, who agrees to help her. The Manticore warns that the brothers' journey may awaken a curse that can only be defeated by her special sword, which she and Laurel steal from a pawn shop .

Traveling to the mountains, Ian and Barley narrowly escape the police and a

motorcycle gang of pixies , relying on Ian's newly awakened spell-casting abilities and Barley's role-playing game instincts. "Raven's Point" leads them on a trail indicated by a series of raven statues, but Colt follows them, calling in reinforcements. Barley sacrifices Guinevere to cause a landslide, blocking their pursuers. Following the statues, the brothers descend through a cave and avoid a series of traps and deadly creatures, during which Barley reveals to Ian that he was unable to emotionally bring himself to say goodbye to Wilden when he was dying in the hospital. They then run into one final obstacle, and surface to find themselves in front of Ian's high school. Ian, fed up with Barley's recklessness, lashes out at him for leading them on a wild goose chase and walks away with Wilden.

Rereading his list of things he always wished to do with his father, Ian realizes that Barley has been a father figure throughout his entire life, and returns to make amends. Barley discovers the gem inside a historic fountain and retrieves it, unwittingly triggering the curse The Manticore spoke of, which turns the high school into an artificial dragon bent on claiming the gem. Ian faces the artificial dragon, but his staff is knocked into the ocean; he reforms it from a splinter and continues the fight. The Manticore flies in carrying Laurel, who plunges the magic sword into the artificial dragon's heart, buying Ian time to cast the visitation spell and fully reform Wilden's body. Ian sends Barley ahead to finally give his proper goodbye to Wilden, and holds off the artificial dragon long enough for Laurel to destroy it. After Wilden dissipates, Barley tells Ian that their father is proud of him, and the brothers share a hug.

Sometime later, Ian's confidence and spell-casting have improved and he surprises Barley by painting his new van, the "Guinevere 2" or the Yellow Guinevere. The Manticore reopens her tavern in its original spirit, drawing in customers with tales of past adventures, Ian and Barley have a better relationship with Colt, and the brothers continue questing.

Tausiyah Cinta adalah film Indonesia yang diadaptasi dari buku dengan judul yang sama dengan judul film ini. Film yang dirilis pada tahun 2016 yang disutradarai

Humar Hadi. Sebuah film yang diproduksi oleh Bedasinema Pictures dengan para pemeran seperti Hamas Syahid, Ressa Rere, dan Rendy Herpy. Film ini akan dirilis pada Januari 2016.

SINOPSIS

Kebencian Lefan ( Rendy Herpy) pada ayahnya semakin besar ketika ia harus kehilangan ibunya. Lefan menganggap bahwa sepanjang hidup ibunya, ayahnya selalu menyakiti batin sang ibu. Saat Lefan berada dalam situasi ini, Elfa ([Hidayatur Rahmi]), kakak perempuannya yang seorang ustadzah sampai tidak mempan menasihatinya. Lefan berpikir bahwa kakaknya itu sebenarnya tidak peduli dengan keluarga. Elfa terlalu fokus dengan profesi dan dunianya sampai tak mengetahui masalah yang dialami ibunya. Menjalani keseharian dengan hati dendam, Lefan berjuang membuktikan pada ayahnya bagaimana caranya meraih kesuksesan tanpa bantuan ayah dan memuliakan perempuan. Alhasil, Lefan berhasil menjadi konseptor bisnis yang kaya, terkenal dan sukses. Kala kariernya berada di puncak, dendam di hati Lefan membuatnya mengalami pergulatan batin yang hebat. Layaknya seorang yang kehausan di padang pasir, ia tahu bahwa ia haus, tetapi terus menemui jalan buntu untuk mencari jalan yang lebih baik. Pertemuan Lefan dengan Azka ( Hamas Syahid Izzuddin ), sosok arsitek tampan dan hafidz Qur’an dalam sebuah project membuka pergulatan batin yang selama ini mengendap di hati Lefan. Lefan menemukan kharisma pada diri Azka yang tidak ia dapatkan dari sosok ayahnya. Azka juga dapat menjawab ribuan pertanyaan kritis perihal pergulatan batin Lefan. Persahabatan pun dimulai. Project tak hanya menjadi awal persahabatan Lefan dan Azka, tetapi juga pertemuan dua pemuda tampan ini dengan Rein ( Ressa Rere), gadis cantik yang juga hafal qur'an, senang memanah dan lincah membuat gambar siluet. Rein adalah mahasiswi Teknik Lingkungan tingkat akhir yang sedang merampungkan skripsinya. Pada diri Rein, Lefan mendapatkan sesuatu yang tidak ada pada diri kakaknya, Elfa. Ternyata, terdapat sosok sholehah yang membuat hati Lefan merasa damai. Salahkah Lefan jika ingin lebih dekat dengan Rein? Kalau memang bisa, bagaimana caranya? Sebuah keputusan yang tidak wajar dari Rein membuat Lefan meneteskan air mata. Dalam tetesan air matanya itulah, puisi Tausiyah Cinta tertulis. Biarlah rangkaian kata di dalamnya itu menjadi bukti proses ikhtiar Lefan. Ikhtiar dalam pencarian jalan untuk selalu dekat dengan-Nya...
