LAGENDA BUDAK SETAN (2010)

Lagenda Budak Setan ialah sebuah filem Malaysia tahun 2010 yang diadaptasi daripada novel dengan judul sama oleh Ahadiat Akashah sekitar tahun 1985. Filem ini diarahkan oleh Sharad Sharan dan dibintangi oleh Farid Kamil, Lisa Surihani dan Que Haidar.

SINOPSIS

Kasyah ( Farid Kamil) bersama rakan sekumpulannya, Sofi, Man dan Cin Cai merupakan pelajar-pelajar nakal yang sering membuat onar dan terkenal kerana sering dikenakan tindakan disiplin. Mereka juga menggelar kumpulan mereka sebagai kumpulan antiperempuan. Namun begitu, sikap dan kenakalan Kasyah berubah dengan kemunculan pelajar tahun baru, Ayu ( Lisa Surihani ). Ayu telah benar-benar menambat hati dan perasaan Kasyah serta membuatkan dia jatuh cinta terhadapnya. Ayu telah mencabar Kasyah untuk berubah sebagai syarat untuknya menerima Kasyah. Maka, episod baru hidup Kasyah pun bermula.

Setiba masanya, Kasyah perlu melakukan tugasan kajian tesisnya di kawasan pedalaman dan berpisah sementara dengan Ayu. Azmi ( Que Haidar) yang pernah mengecewakan Ayu kini muncul kembali menagih cinta dari Ayu. Azmi hampa apabila Ayu menolak permintaannya itu. Melalui ibu Ayu, Mak Leha ( Sheila Mambo ), Azmi merencanakan sesuatu untuk membolehkannya bernikah dengan Ayu. Dalam perancangan tersebut, Mak Leha berpura-pura sakit jantung dan tidak boleh berada dalam keadaan risau. Risau dengan keadaan ibunya, Ayu yang serba salah terpaksa menerima Azmi apabila ibunya memintanya untuk mengahwini Azmi sebelum ajalnya tiba. Kasyah berasa kecewa kerana kebahagian yang diharapkan tidak menjelma.

Azmi kembali kepada tabiat lamanya yang pemabuk, panas baran, kaki perempuan dan sering memukul Ayu. Pada suatu malam, mereka berdua telah bergaduh besar kerana Azmi yang cemburu dengan cinta Ayu buat Kasyah yang utuh. Ayu yang dipukul bertindak melarikan diri dengan memandu dalam keadaan beremosi dan marah. Dalam panduannya, Ayu hilang kawalan lalu terlibat dalam sebuah kemalangan. Dia telah cedera parah dan mukanya hancur. Azmi menuntut maaf dan memujuk Ayu untuk menerimanya semula setelah menjalani pembedahan plastik ke atas wajahnya, tetapi Ayu sebaliknya menuntut cerai dan meminta wajah yang baru. Episod baru hidup Ayu pun bermula dengannya yang kini berwajah baru dan tampil sebagai Emilia ( Shiqin Kamal). Emilia ingin memulakan hidup baharu dan melupakan episod dukanya sebagai Ayu.

Emilia kemudiannya menubuhkan sebuah syarikat melalui wang simpanan dan pampasan dari Azmi. Melalui rakan baiknya, Suzana, Kasyah dijejaki dan dipelawa untuk bekerja dengan syarikat Emilia. Kasyah yang pada mulanya tidak menyangka apa-apa, mula mengesyaki sesuatu setelah beberapa lama bekerja. Melalui Suzana, Kasyah mendapat tahu segalanya tentang Emilia dan hubungan cinta mereka kembali bertaut. Azmi yang tidak boleh melupakan Emilia telah mencuba untuk menggagalkan perkahwinan mereka dengan meminta bantuan Mak Leha untuk memujuk Emilia. Semasa di rumah Emilia, Azmi telah memukulnya di hadapan Mak Leha selepas dimaki oleh Emilia sehingga Emilia terjatuh dan tidak sedarkan diri. Emilia cedera parah di kepala yang menyebabkannya hilang ingatan sehingga tidak mengenali dirinya sendiri. Berbagai-bagai cara telah dilakukan oleh Kasyah dan Mak Leha untuk memulihkan ingatannya namun tidak berhasil. Setelah beberapa lama, Emilia yang semakin pulih akhirnya mengahwini Kasyah. Malangnya, kebahagian yang diharapkan oleh Kasyah tidak kekal lama apabila Emilia meninggal dunia kerana melahirkan anak mereka.

OMBAK RINDU (2011)

Ombak Rindu (Love Waves) is a Malaysian 2011 romance drama film directed by Osman Ali, starring Aaron Aziz , Lisa Surihani and Maya Karin. The film was adapted from the 2002 novel of the same name written by Fauziah Ashari, published by Alaf 21.

SINOPSIS

Izzah ( Maya Karin) and Hariz ( Aaron Aziz ) are from two different worlds and they have to face many hurdles before finding happiness. Izzah is a village girl who is sold by her uncle to an entertainment club in Kuala Lumpur to become a prostitute. Hariz is a young man who is the son of Madam Sufiah Hariz (Azizah Mahzan), the owner of the business empire 'Sufiah Catering' . He buys Izzah to be his mistress, but Izzah pleads with him to marry her instead to legalise their relationship.

Hariz agrees to the terms, provided that Izzah not claim any rights as a wife . However, the rough and hot-tempered Hariz finds himself falling in love with Izzah who is full of tenderness. Their relationship is frowned upon by Madam Sufiah. Hariz is then forced to marry Mila Amylia ( Lisa Surihani ), a childhood friend and now a famous model and actress, after being pressured by his mother. When Hariz falls into a coma in the hospital due to a road accident, Madam Sufiah drives Izzah out of the bungalow and confiscates the car keys and mobile phones.

Once out of the hospital, Madam Sufiah lies to Hariz about Izzah having forgotten about him and having a relationship with another man. She produces a photograph, apparently taken by a private detective, that shows Mail, Izzah's childhood friend, appearing intimate with Izzah (in actual fact, Izzah was helping Mail get a job in KL and had put him up at Pak Dolah's house). Hariz drives over to Pak Dolah's house and sees Mail and Izzah there, thereby confirming his mother's allegations. He gets angry at Izzah and tells her that he is leaving her. As he drives off in his car, Izzah chases him and falls. She starts to bleed, implying that she may be suffering a miscarriage. At the hospital, she and baby are found to be safe.

Pak Dollah arrives at Hariz's home and confronts Madam Sufiah. Hariz learns of the secret pact that Pak Dolah and Madam Sufiah's husband had made many years ago. Hariz has been given up for adoption to Madam Sufiah and her husband. Hariz feels remorseful and misses Izzah who has gone to her village. He goes to her village to ask for forgiveness. Izzah readily accepts him. Mila appears at the village and after realising that Hariz and Izzah are very much in love, she asks Hariz to divorce her. The film ends with Izzah and Hariz leading a simple happy life together.
